The 9-5 work grind has kept me away from my blog for too long! One of my 2013 New Year's resolutions was to shoot more. Well it's now May and this is just my first post of the year, lol. I have a lot of catching up to do and I'll start with my Southern California road trip last September.
After one rockstar, six hours of driving, and three hours of sleep, we reached our first destination, the happiest place on earth. I hadn't been to Disneyland since I was ten so it was like my first time all over again. Who do I see when I get in the park? My favorite Disney character ever, Donald Duck! Got his autograph too, haha.
We spent the entire day hitting up a mix of old and new Disneyland, from Star Tours to Cars Land. However, what I had really been waiting for was Disney's World of Color. It definitely lived up to all the hype. World of Color is amazing and brings you favorite Disney movies to life! My favorite was Up.
Last stop of the night was the Mad Hatter's Tea Party.
The next day. we visited the one place I had to see in Southern California, Tom's Bench from 500 Days of Summer. I am a sucker for romances so it's no surprise that 500 Days is one of my favorite movies. Getting this one picture was worth the entire trip.
We spent the next two days spontaneously driving around SoCal. We saw Hollywood, Santa Monica, Malibu and Santa Barbara. We ate a ton of food and saw a lot of great places.This definitely needs to happen again!
